Update from Owen

Good Afternoon, Friends,

As I reported earlier, we cancelled our medical trip to Honduras in October due to Hurricane Helene.

We have rescheduled the trip for January 17-24, 2025. 

We will follow our normal routine of surgeries at the local hospital and spending as much time as possible with the children of the Hogar/Orphanage.

One new outreach this trip: we will have a clinic for women at the nearby prison. This development arose from Dr. Williams doing diagnostic tests on a female inmate last year who needed to see a specialist. Please pray that all will go smoothly.

One other piece of news: I am retiring from the Hope Chest for Women/Missions of Hope at the end of January, 2025. Thank you all for your generous support over the years and for those who have joined our teams. 

I hope your Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations are joy-filled and meaningful.
